MASTER CLASS tempera paint properties:
*Versatility
No special solvents are required. Any de-greased surface can be used for painting e.g. paper, cardboard, or canvas. The tools needed are synthetic or bristle brushes, palette knife, and water
*Compatibility
Can be mixed with NEVSKAYA PALITRA acrylic, watercolor or gouache paints
*Quick-drying
Allows for framing or transporting a painting at an earlier stage as well as using various painting techniques
*Durability
The paints are not susceptible to temperature and humidity changes, and do not fade in bright light. After curing, a permanent, flexible, water-insoluble layer on the surface of the painting is formed. The painting does not darken or turn yellow over time, does not change its shade, and retains its vibrancy
*Shrink-resistance
*Rich, bright, deep colors
*Very close in consistency to oil paints
*Do not change their shades after drying and retain color purity
*Layers of paint dry evenly and quickly, and do not form a film on the surface like acrylic paints do
MASTER CLASS tempera paint has high viscosity and opacity. It uses polyvinyl acetate as a binder, allowing the paint to dry fast and evenly to form a permanent matte layer. Once completely cured, the paint cannot be reactivated with water.
